HSUPA Solutions
Overview
HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) provides uplink data transmission service to WCDMA (UMTS) networks, offering high-speed wireless broadband capabilities that allow true mobility. HSUPA enables a new generation of uplink-intensive wireless services such as voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), push to multimedia for instant sharing of high-quality video and digital images, and richly rendered 3D gaming with multiple players. As a packet-based data transmission enhancement to WCDMA networks, HSUPA provides significantly higher uplink data rates that, together with HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), delivers a complete wireless system to support an entire range of broadband applications.
